It's a human relations thing, 2009

This is a video basically consisting of the signs in the female toilets of a girl’s student hostel at a university campus. I became interested in the different ways people communicate, through written language and visual form, over the issue of cleanliness in a shared communal space.

It's a human relations thing has been shown at Mori Gallery (2009) in Sydney along with new works by Susan Norrie and Abel TM, the OK.Comedy: 4th Jakarta International Video Festival at the National Gallery of Indonesia and as part of Emerging Economies/ refreshing the art scene? curated by Ima Pico at the S.LOW cross disciplinary project in Berlin (2010).
